What is an apprenticeship?

An apprenticeship is a way to earn whilst you learn. It’s a genuine paid job, with study/training, meaning you gain paid work experience as well as nationally recognised qualifications. All study is tailored towards the future career - and you also learn on the job from experienced colleagues.

Who funds the apprenticeship?

Apprentices do not pay anything towards their apprenticeship. Pickering will pay for the apprentice’s training as well as paying their salary.
